Coping when Someone has Died launch

Paul Daniels helps with the launch of the
‘Coping when Someone has Died’ CD-ROM

The Rotary wheel

In Bournemouth, on 23rd April 2004, the largest Rotary Wheel ever made was produced in a park, to mark the launch of ‘Coping when Someone has Died’.

The wheel was 100 metres diameter and was made out of 180,000 CDs placed on the grass by 100 children. 180,000 is significant because it represents the estimated number of people who had died in the UK and Ireland up to April 23rd that year – an indication of how bereavement affects so many people.

The children were assisted on the day by magician Paul Daniels, who came along to help with the launch.
